Skiing in the Wagrain ski resort

Experience unforgettable moments amongst family on the “Griessenkareck” and “Grafenberg” ski mountains, linked together via the valley-crossing G-LINK sky tram. With 37 slope kilometres and 160 hectares of skiing areas, the Wagrain ski resort is the perfect location for alpine ski sport lovers.

The WAGRAIN G-LINK connects the two ski mountains with a 2km-long sky tram system. Two carriages (travelling in opposite directions) bring skiers to and from the mid-station of the “Flying Mozart” cable car in Wagrain and the lower station of the Grafenberg Express II in Wagrain. The carriages can carry 130 people per direction per journey.

This is both impressive and practical - it allows our guests to have access to yet another ski resort, ensuring they get the most fun out of the skiing experiences.

Whether you are a beginner or well-advanced, a child or an adult, a single person or a group - the Wagrain ski schools offer perfect guidance with highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors.

In the classes for children, special attention is given to the younger skiers. They will be slowly and safely guided into the skiing world. With the first lessons focusing on getting used to the ski equipment, the young ones will first learn how to ski in the training area, then get their first shots at the slopes and then finally finish with a ski race.

Alongside the ski training, the ski schools also offer the opportunity of booking cross-country skiing, snow shoe hiking or guided ski tours with a professional guide.

Directly at the Roten 8 gondola mid-station, you will find the WAGRAINi's Winterwelt with plenty of attractions for little ski beginners. The Winterwelt offers lots of games and fun with professional instructors and training equipment. WAGRAINi, the mascot, accompanies children for their first attempt on two boards.

Ski bus

Ski bus stop just 150 metres away

Enjoy the free bus transfer system in Wagrain-Kleinarl. The bus stop will be just 150 metres away from your accommodation. From there, the ski bus will take you to the lower station in the Wagrain ski resort and to Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl. Upon presentation of a valid ski pass, a valid guest card or alpine equipment, you can enjoy the free bus service.
